कसूरी आलू | Aloo Kasuri

INGREDIENTS


3 medium sized potatoes


1 large onion


2-4 green chilli


1 tsp chopped garlic


1/2 tsp cumin seeds(optional)


2 tbsp kasuri methi (dry fenugreek leaves)


1/2 tsp turmeric powder


1/2 tsp red chilli powder


1 tsp coriander powder


Salt to taste


2 tbsp oil

METHOD-

In a pan, heat oil add cumin seeds once the seeds splutter add chopped garlic & green chillies and sauté until translucent.

Now add potato and onion along with salt and cover it for couple of mins on low flame.

Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder mix well add 2 tbsp water and cook for 5mins on low flame.

Finally add kasuri methi and cover it for 2-4 mins on low-medium flame.

Garnish with green chillies or fresh coriander.

Serve Aloo Kasuri Methi Sabji with chapati, phulka, paratha, poori or dal-rice.

No Sugar Caramel Bread Popcorn

गुड़ और ब्रेड के टेस्टी कुरकुरे पॉपकॉर्न No Sugar Bread Popcorn. You should try this recipe on my recommendation. So, let’s get started.

Only 5 Ingredients(Easily Available)
1.Bread – 4
2.Jaggery – 3tbsp
3.Salted Butter – 1tsp
4.Milk – 2 tbsp
5.Water – 1tsp

Method –

Cut the bread slices in small cubes and dry toast them in kadhai/pan for 6-7 minutes low-medium heat.

Once toasted nicely on both sides, remove from the heat.

In the pan, take jaggery with 1tsp of water on low heat.

Once jaggery melts, add butter and cook for 1 minute on high heat.

After butter is completely melted, add milk and mix everything well.

Keep on stirring the caramel sauce on low heat till it thickens up.

Once caramel sauce is ready, add toasted bread pieces and coat them nicely in caramel sauce. Turn off the flame and let it cool completely.

Crispy Jaggery bread popcorns are ready to be enjoyed.
“You can also store it an airtight container for 1-2 days in refrigerator”.

Homemade Cookies Recipe | Coconut Cookies | Biscuit Recipe | Eggless Cookies | Cookies without Oven and Egg

Ingredients –

1/2 cup powdered sugar


1/2 cup desi ghee


1/2 cup whole wheat flour


1/2 cup desiccated coconut


1/2 cup all purpose flour


2 tbsp oats


cardamom powder


1/2 tsp baking powder


2-3 tbsp cold milk


almond & coconut for garnishing

Preparation –

•In a large bowl Add 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1/2 cup desi ghee or unsalted butter. Whisk for 3-4 minutes until creamy and smooth.

•Now add 1/2 tsp baking powder mix well.

•Now add 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, 1/2 desiccated coconut, 1/2 cup all purpose flour, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder or vanilla extract mix well.

•Add 2-3 tbsp milk (more or less as needed) mix well using your hands and knead into a medium soft dough.

•Cover and rest for 10-15 minutes.

•Line a baking tray with butter paper or silver foil.

•Divide the dough into small portions and make round shaped balls from it. Flatten each ball a little between your palms to give a shape like cookie. Garnish them with almonds then roll the cookies in desiccated coconut.

•Place them on baking tray.

Remove baking tray from oven and let it cool completely. The cookies will be very soft at this time.

•Place the baking tray on middle rack in preheated oven and bake it at 180°C for 15 minutes or until the edges of cookies have little golden brown color.

•Cookies will turn crispy and crunchy after cooling.

•Our homemade delicious coconut cookies are ready. Store them in an airtight container and enjoy.

Note- You can also make this cookies without oven in kadhai or pressure cooker. Preheat the kadhai for 5 minutes on low flame then place cookies and bake for 25-30 minutes on low to medium heat.

Crispy Bitter Gourd | Kurkure Karele | Karela Fry | Karela Recipe | Easy Karela Recipe

Ingredients

2 Karela (Bitter Gourd)

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp red chili powder

1/2 tsp coriander powder

1/2 tsp dry mango powder

1/2 tsp garam masala

1 tbsp gram flour

1 tbsp rice flour

1/2 tsp garlic paste

Salt to taste

2-3 tbsp water

Oil for frying

Kurkure Karele

Preparation-

Cut karela into thin slices. Remove the seeds. Take all the masalas in a bowl and mix well. Now transfer masala over the karela and mix well. Add water and mix well. Deep fry until golden and crisp.
